A great hotel, and especially a great breakfest.
I always stay in the Seibel when I am in Munich.
In a great location, only 1 U Bahn stop from the Munich Hbf.
Very pleasant stay and so clean! Breakfast was awesome as well as front desk staff! The bathtubs are higher than normal so can be difficult to get into if you have knee problems, otherwise fantastic rooms and great experience.

A very aesthetic, vintage place. The staff are extra helpful and nice, specially the receptionist. The place is very tidy. However, it would be helpful I could have a fridge, fan and coffee machine in the room considering the amount I am paying for the rooms.
Impeccable room with neutral decoration (was actually better than the pictures from previous reviews). Everything worked fine in the room including the heater, electrical outlets and sockets. Only negative comment is the absence of a safe to keep precious and personal items, like travel documents and jewels.
Friendly staff with super quick check-in and check-out.
The breakfast is simple yet full. You have eggs, grilled veggies, cake, yoghurt, oats, cereals, cheese, ham, bread, juice, tea and coffee. I think the breakfast is surprisngly very complete. Here the negative comment would be the size of the dining room which gets croweded at peak times.
Superb location at less than 15 minutes walk to S-bahn and U-bahn. Very safe area (even at night) with other hotels, restaurants, a bakery, grocery stores, a supermarket, and other businesses nearby.
To sum up, really good hotel that went beyond our expectations in terms of comfort, location and breakfast.
Really enjoyed our stay here. Rooms were large and clean, with very pretty decor. We enjoyed the breakfast as well as it was a large assortment of different items. Only note is that luggage storage is just putting the luggage in the corner of the front room, but there seemed someone was always at the front. Good location as well
Overall it is a great hotel for a day or two. The only issue was the personal was super rude and unfriendly. I could not connect to the wifi and the receptionist did not want to provide another password to try.
Are was not nice. Furniture chipped and worn. Room was unbelievably small. Window looked out at storage yard of hotel next door. Trash from Oktoberfest all over neighborhood.
The reception is on the second floor with no elevator. I had to carry my luggage with me up to the reception first and then carry it back to the first floor where my room was. It would be great if it can be better organized and communicated before the check in. Everything else was just amazing.
The hotel itself is fine, the location is easily accessible, the room was clean and quiet, the breakfast was good.
What was a disappointment that there was no mentioning in the description of the room, that it is a room in the basement with a window at at ground level. I felt that I was tricked into booking a room that I would not have chosen knowing this fact.
This was an awful hotel experience. Unpleasant staff, dirty and worn-down facilities, walls colored by impregnated nicotine smoke. The room appeared not have been refurbished since the 60s. Availability of parking offered, according to the booking information, was public parking spaces in the streets around. Don't stay this hotel!
