Perfection! This hotel is fantastic in every aspect. The only criticism I have is that they charge an additional fee if you arrive a little bit early and a room is available. (The official check-in time is 3pm. We arrived at 12:30pm.) This seems to be a relatively new trend - a way to make more money from guests. If a room is ready, it should be made available without any extra charges. Also, it is best not to justify it with "all hotels do this", especially since it is not true.

Clean and convenient hotel with well equipped room. I recommend this hotel for an overnight stay since rooms are small.

Poor Stay
Very small room. Poor lighting as of you are staying in a real cabin in the middle of the forest. Room has no drinking cups and no fridge. Had to collect cups from the front desk. No fridge means we could not buy milk or fruit juice to keep. Asked for a kettle because its winter and need to make hot drinks and was given one that looked like un-descaled in the last 10 years. Totally unusable. Shame on the hotel for keeping it as a relic. Staff (except for 1) looked uninterested all the time and slightly grouchy. Bathroom door is faulty causing water to seep out from the shower area into the dry area. Hot food served at breakfast were all salty especially the eggs. The hotel does provide free bottled water. You just pick it up from the counter. But this minor service does not make up for all the missing amenities and services usually offered by a standard hotel.

Exactly as advertised. Very cute property with a nice patio, good breakfast, easy walk from central train station. Rooms are small, no place to unpack except two small shelves and 2 hangers. Good for a short stay.

Hotel is new and nice. Thursday ski theme is very cool, including the custom elevators. There is active construction directly across the street, which was very loud during the day. It is really hot in Munich in June, but the hotel rooms don’t have refrigerators to store drinks/food. The front desk called our taxi to the airport. The first front desk guy the evening before we left said it was €50, and would take 30mins. The front desk guy in the morning called the cab and said it would be €70, and it would take 45mins. The actual time was about 45min, but the taxi cost €110. I definitely would’ve taken the train, if the estimate was near €100.

Cool hotel in a great location
The hotel is in a great location close to the train station, but it is not too noisy. The room is clean and comfortable and big enough for all you need for a two-night stay. The hotel is quirky and cool, designed as ski lodge. The bed was comfortable. The windows are a little annoying as we locked it open. I thought the breakfast could be better. But overall our stay was excellent. Check-in and check-out were easy.

It was overall a good stay with friendly staff, good breakfast but disappointing room. Room was not as nice/homely as the photos made it out to be, looked like an after thought with very blank walls and no character at all.

This place was adorable. Fantastically placed walking distance from all things Munich. Breakfast every day in the lobby that turns into a bar at night. The only complaint I’d have is the temp the room was. Maybe it was just my room, but we couldn’t adjust the temp and it was a little warm for my liking. 10/10 would stay again though.

Absolutely loved it
We absolutely loved this hotel. The staff were friendly and very helpful, the drinks selection in the bar was great and the decor is quirky and beautiful. We particularly liked the environmentally friendly approach i.e. not changing towels for the sake of it. Great location near a main train station too. Thanks for a lovely stay, we will definitely be back.
