Bedroom would benefit from an update- carpet I’ll fitting, no full length mirror. Bed comfortable. Bathroom lovely and shower worked well. Choice to decide if you want your room serviced or not."

"The hotel is ideally situated - while not being in an immediately picturesque location, its proximity to the M6, A66 and Penrith North Lakes railway station make it the perfect base for exploring the beauty of the Lake District in one direction and Yorkshire in the other. The staff are excellent, particularly in the FYR restaurant: friendly, helpful and attentive. The food is equally impressive and the hotel itself is clean, comfortable and a pleasure to stay in. "
