"The view of the woods was great!! The carpeting should have been replaced long ago. The shower easily let water all over the floor. The framed artwork on the walls were falling appart. The associated restaurant was TERRIBLE. It was a Sunday and staff said they always ran out of many items on weekends. The shrimp that were left were terrible! A fan that could not be turned off was very loud and made conversation impossible!! "

"Everything was clean and up to date and felt very safe. The staff were friendly and it was close to everything. I definitely recommend this property and would stay here again. "

"The long wall mirror was hanging by one hook. The room was clean, spacious, and comfortable. The breakfast area was clean. Breakfast was sad for options. Toast, plain bagels, yogurt, hostess donuts, 2 different cereals, coffee, milk, few apples, and the machine that dispensed orange juice and apple juice was broken. No other options for breakfast or drink. Decent restaurants around the area. "

"Very close to Mammoth Cave National Park and great value. Very large, clean and quiet room with workspace. Loved windows on 2 sides of the room. Working fridge, A/C and microwave, but no closet/hangers or coffee pot. Next door to a gas station and convenience store, but not much else around."

"The price did NOT match the quality of the hotel. We changed rooms 3 times because of dirty sheets and old liquor bottles left in the room. The lobby floors were slick with water and filthy. I tried to call multiple times throughout the day of our check in to reserve a crib for our little one and could not get through to the front desk. They didn’t have any by the time we got there… When we arrived we learned there were no extra pillows and they weren’t receiving a shipment for 2 weeks. Also, the pool closed at 8 and that was the main reason we chose the hotel was so our children could enjoy swimming. The staff we spoke with were very nice, but not helpful for what we needed. I always try to stay at Holiday Inn Express if one is available, but this one is an absolute no-go for us again. $156 of dirt and disappointment."
