"The hotel and adjoining pub & restaurant were wonderful. We enjoyed walking the Killarney area. The live music is fantastic. The public parking across from the hotel was very crowded but we found a spot. I was under the impression that the hotel refunded up to 3 hours of parking but that was not the case."

"We loved this hotel from the time we stepped foot in the door! We got upgraded to a suite, which was beautiful and very spacious! The bed was very comfy and always appreciate a chocolate on the bed at night when coming back from a long day exploring! The breakfast was very good. The hotel is about a 10 minute drive to center of town but the hotel offers a shuttle, which was a bonus! I would definitely come back again. If you plan on staying here and want to partake in a spa service, make sure you book ahead "

"Stayed here with my partner for 6 days. Clean and comfortable and a short walk into the town centre. Had breakfast in a Sheahans garage a 5 min walk up the road as was better value there. Hotel also has a swimming pool and i was able to book a Ring of Kerry bus tour from reception. Staff are very helpful"

"The Muckross hotel and suites in Killarney was a perfect launch site for our family to leave from to see the local attractions including the Beara peninsula and the Ring of Kerry. We stayed in a 2 bedroom suite and it was perfect for our family of three. The unit is very quiet, well equipped with great king sized beds. Breakfast was a bit pricey but wonderful selection and service. One item to note is that there are no elevators in the apartment suites area so be prepared for some lifting of your luggage. One general comment about not only this hotel but really all the areas we visited in Ireland is that we found the Irish to be wonderful people, kind and attentive, and truly hospitable in all respects. The people here have left a very positive lasting impression on our whole family. "
