Big, comfortable, well appointed hotel. Caters to families, but all kinds of travelers there. Room was spacious, nicely decorated and relaxing. Restaurants were busy the whole time we were there, with great food and service. Leisure centre was wonderful, especially the pool.

The Hotel Killarney is located on the outskirts of Killarney which makes it easy to reach. The staff at the hotel are friendly and professional. The rooms are comfortable. There is a good selection of food at the breakfast buffet. I stayed 4 night to explore the area.

The hotel is a great place to stay when being in the Killarney area. Clean, friendly personal, good-sized rooms, good breakfast buffet, restaurant, and bar. The hotel is huge, so be prepared to walk a while along the hallways before finding your room. My only recommendation to the staff: Explain the directions at the front desk. A couple of times, I pointed lost guests into the right direction.

The Good: The property location was great for downtown exploring. The staff was friendly, and the property itself was clean. The Bad: There is an apartment complex directly behind the hotel; the night we stayed it was extremely loud. The parking lot was crowded and made it hard to find "on site parking". The doors to get back into the hotel did not work with the room keys. Getting bags in and out of the door was difficult due to not having automatic open.
