"The room was pretty cold, which would’ve been great in summer, but even with the heater running, it felt a little too chilly, especially since we stayed for a night at the tail end of winter. There’s plenty of parking, and the place boasts a gorgeous view of the snow-covered mountains with a peek at the Taupo River."
