Commercial Hotel Boonah

"Stayed one night stop over. Room as excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful. We had dinner in the restaurant and the Lamb Shank meat feel off the bone. Would definitely recommend the Commercial Hotel Boonah as a great place to stay."

"A beautiful converted chapel set in a lovely garden with roses and native shrubs and bird life. Very delicious breakfast using local produce from the Scenic Rim."

"The resort definitely needs some TLC, since it's been up for sale needed updates and repairs are just not happening. Having said that the place is comfortable and clean and the staff are fantastic. We were a bit disappointed that the restaurant is now only open on Friday and Saturday nights but understandable considering how quiet the place is through the week. The upside is that there's almost no one there mid week so you almost have the place to yourself. The nearby pub and cafe/Indian restaurant have excellent food 7 days a week. The golf is great and the course is well maintained although the cart paths are bit neglected. If you want a couple of days away somewhere quiet and comfortable this is it."

"Spicers were amazing - the room had. Great view and was very comfortable. Grounds were lovely, and the food was brilliant. Only thing that damped the stay slightly was on the day of departure we got a bill for a toothbrush weโd used - first hotel Iโve been too that charged for in room amenities (and didnโt have the prices in the room). Overall lovely stay though!"
