Prior to arrival, I received a confirmation email from The Turks Heads, seconds ahead of the Orbitz confirmation.
I stayed in the Debdon room (6). It's a 2-room suite. The first room contained the bed and small bathroom (shower only, no tub), the second room was the lounge, both rooms are quite sizable. There is another door in the lounge, but it's locked. The room was clean, the staff were very friendly. It wasn't perfect for our arrival due to some confusion of two bookings at the same time, but they were able to get a roll away bed to set up in the lounge. The listing in Orbitz doesn't mention the included breakfast, which was a nice discovery. Breakfast was a combination of "continental" and hot - full English breakfast, a crepe with bacon, I can't remember what the third option was, but they did cook to order. The TV was the oddest thing, it included only basic channels (not an issue), but for some reason seemed to lose sync a lot on several (but not all) of the channels. The TV looked like it did have a couple of USB ports.
We were able to park just about in front of the pub. On-street parking only, on a narrow road, so not a lot of passing traffic. There was a parking area close by as well.
It's just outside of Cragside, the main reason for our visit.
The downside is the room is right over the pub, where the music player sits. Fortunately, it wasn't played too late into the night, and was much quieter on the weekday night.
