"Very nice and clean hotel! Reception was closed but I got very detailed instructions before arrival on how to retreive my key and find the room. I was also gifted sweets and wine. I loved that the fridge was bigger than usual hotel fridges/minibar. I also got the breakfast, which was served at a nearby café, and I got my breakfast served at the table. Very cozy place and everything was tasty! Highly recommend this hotel!"

"We stayed for a few days (parents and an adult daughter from California) and we loved the apartment (2 bedroom, 2 bathrooms loft apartment), which was spacious, clean and had plenty of amenities. It was close to shopping, dining and the Venetian fortress. The front staff was so friendly, professional and well informed. Excellent customer service from all of them. They assisted with everything we needed. The housekeeper was also very nice and would always offer us extra water bottles and coffee pods when she was on our floor. All communication before we arrived was also great and checking in was a very smooth process. We would definitely stay at City Lion if we were to visit the city of Iraklios (Heraklion) in the future. What a great experience we had! "
"What a beautiful hotel just minutes from the port and the central area. We easily walked over from the ferry, and it was simple to launch explorations of the city and its surrounding areas from this location. The staff are very attentive, and the drinks at the bar after a day of touring are well prepared. We also enjoyed a treatment at the spa, which was a perfect conclusion to our 15-day tour of Greece.
