"Older building but very well maintained. Very nice staff. Evening social hour was a nice plus. Breakfast was typical continental breakfast fare. TV in bedroom was tiny, but otherwise room was comfortable and very clean. Would stay again without hesitation! "

"It was a good hotel to stay in while in town to see a Rays game. 20 minute walk to the stadium, but they do offer a free shuttle to the game. Friendly staff and clean hotel. Walking distance to plenty of restaurants and bars downtown."

"They did not clean our room every day, not even every other day even though I asked them for it many times. When they 'cleaned' the room, they just organized it. They didnt change the sheets with the clean ones. No free drinkable water. No gym, no pool, no free parking, no bar, no comfortable lobby/gathering area, no hair conditioner.. Not sure how they received 4 stars. Our body wash was emptied on the 2nd day and I had to buy shower gel myself. Vending machine was not working. Overall it was not a good experience for me and my daughter. I would prefer another hotel next year. "

"The hotel room itself was a terrible setup. The bathroom was directly next to the bed. Anytime you needed to use it at night you had to turn on a light and fan and wake your spouse. The TV was also difficult to use and the remote was very confusing. In addition, when we returned to the hotel at 9:00 pm, there were no parking spots available. I asked the night clerk for help and he directed me to an area that I was not comfortable with and he was very rude. Overnight, my rental car was hit by another guest."

"-Room wasn’t ready upon check in -Never got a t promised text saying when it was ready -Room never was ready, switched out resv to different room -Lobby was FULL of kids lying on sofas and chairs being loud and eating every time you walked through -Pool time was a nightmare, kids took over pool splashing others, jumping in, being loud, throwing nerfs and volleyballs, having races -Got hit twice with ball at the other end of the pool -Parents/chaperones did NOTHING as they were gathered at their own table chatting not paying attention -Found out it was a swim team and a dance team staying at the hotel -Was told Hyatt was short staffed to handle all the guests -Other patrons complained about same issues to us -Told front desk and they suggested “we call the manager” not the other way around or “maybe they could give us a drink voucher but the bar wasn’t open” so that didn’t happen. -They didn’t charge for parking because of the long delay of check in -Never an apology, just agreeing there were “a lot of kids”, staff admitted they were getting complaints -Cleaning staff was friendly -Hotel felt older and dull, not a typical Hyatt standard that I’ve had in the past. -Won’t be staying at Hyatt again and we frequent St Pete on weekends every couple three months. "

"The rooms are old and dirty. While I was there I saw at least three German roaches in my room. Nothing looked as if they were cleaned at any point or if they were it had to have been months ago. The elevator didn’t work really well and would get stuck. The bed was an old spring bed and was concave in the center of it. Floors felt sticky and gross. Shower had mildew everywhere and the shower head couldn’t let water through properly because all the holes were blocked up. Don’t be too large of a person because the path to squeeze into the shower and the bathroom sink will stop you. The free shampoo and conditioners were empty. They have no cleaning service so do not expect your room to be serviced in between the days that you stay. Parking also sucks. Cool location but just seems like they have to invest way more into their property. If you’re a couple. Do not book here. If you’re a person that can stand the mediocre hospitality and run down rooms and want to save money then this may be the place for you. "

"Exchange hotel means you “exchange” parking, elevators and cleanliness for a cheap room. Yuk"

"The breakfast was hot and delicious with the staff on hand for any assistance. The room was very clean and well stocked with all the amenities. Everyone from the valet attendant to the cleaning staff was nice to my senior dog which was much appreciated. Will definitely stay there again."
