"The overlook on the water was beautiful. Bar and restaurant were nice with a limited menu and sold out of some things because of lack of inventory from the fishermen. Staff were lovely, especially man working at night. Breakfast was typical for continental breakfast but an amazing coffee machine to make most coffees. Hard to find plugs in rooms (I have a cpap) but it worked out. Distilleries and castle not far."

"Less than a five minute walk from the train station and the ferry. Run by a bunch of very happy guys who also run the attached bar restaurant. My room was spacious and modern with a great bathroom and great hot water. To top it off it there was a wide selection of a breakfast menu which was also included in a very reasonable price. Plenty of restaurants and shops and a supermarket are very close. All in all I had a great day stay in Mallaig and would come back to this inn and I highly recommend it."

"We booked the twin room and it was great. The beds were comfy and the bathroom was great. The heated towel rack was a great thing to add. We got dinner in the pub and that was delicious and the staff were lovely. It also was not that far from things to do in the Isle of Sky."

"We arrived late, they were just about to wrap up serving dinner. Manager said just sit at the bar - have a drink and eat your dinner first then we will take care of the luggages. They took our order and served us delicious steaks, wine and then helped us with our luggage. They did all this smoothly and naturally, which made us feel very welcomed. Breakfast was great, not elaborately large spread, but enough of each category to meet our 10 veggie and protein intake targets effortlessly and delicately. Overall we couldnโt be happier and left very satisfied with the service, food and our clean, large cottage. If we come back to Highland Scotland we will definitely stay here again and recommend it to everyone also."

"Stunning stay.. friendly helpful staff. Had the jacobean suite which was gorgeous. Great atmosphere, diner meal tasty.. breakfast a little short on fruit but the cooked breakfast really good.. all coffee where ever you sat had 2 gorgeous shortbread.. I would andbwill be back on a heartbeat.."
