"I have been staying at The Crown for over 30 years. First with my parents as a child, and now with my own child. Love the beach access, and walkability. The remodeled pool area is great! Only thing I would note is the need for adaptive equipment (ex: grab bar in shower) specifically for older guests; and some of the window treatments could use an upgrade. But it’s the perfect place to bring your family and spend some quality time - winter and summer alike. "

Only thing is that the bowls were too small for cereal, and there was no spatula for eggs in the kitchen. Expedia needs to update their info though to say that pool isn't heated year round, and that the hotel holds the cost of the total stay on your credit card immediately after booking. "

"They did not set the door code correctly and I spent over thirty minutes outside on hold trying to correct the issue. I did save money with it being inexpensive but the place is not advertised as a budget stay and even though all the old fixtures and bedding are absolutely budget two star grade. The instructions ask me to take out the trash and start the laundry for them, which is odd. "
