Monument Valley is an awe-inspiring place, especially at sunrise and sunset. To be close to these views, you need to stay at Gouldings or The View. Based on my experience, I would recommend The View hotel.

"Loved the serenity of the grounds, the porches in the view of the river. Check in was very friendly. The room was clean. We ate at the restaurant as we did not want to get back in the car. I found the restaurant very pricey and had a very small menu. However food was good."

"This was a hidden treasure! Super clean cabins. Comfortable beds and plenty of room. Way better than a hotel stay. Great views. Canyon Smokehouse is across the street and has amazing food. Coffee shop down the road was also amazing."
