"Extremely friendly staff."

"We really liked the outdoor hot spring, closeness to the Shirahama Beach, and the free shuttle service from and to the Shimoda station. We loved the dinner, too."

"Staff were super friendly and welcoming. A great coastal onsen away from the busy cities. Views of the coastline from the outdoor air bath and east access to the beach for swimming and surfing were a highlight. Kaiseki dinner and breakfast were great value and included local fish, lobster and abalone."

"Great place and location. Really peaceful and great amenities."

"Great for family travel, good for solo travel. It's about a 15 minute walk to the restaurants and station so it's in a quieter spot with great view of the water. Best for longer, relaxed stays."

"Wonderful hotel with excellent and friendly staff. Food was excellent and really Japanese. It really felt as being living in Japan with great hospitality and friendliness. Beach and hot spa was relaxing and great."

"Nice old place to stay but needs some upgrades. Staff are very kind especially the old man and his wife."

"電話問い合わせしました。 金額はロビーに来てからと、金額確定前に個人情報の記載を求められました。まだ合意まえなのにと思いました。 冷蔵庫には前の客残した食べかけが残っており、気分は最悪。スタッフも謝ったりしません。悲しかったです。安いのでこんなもんかと納得はしてます。"

"Great location, friendly staff, beautiful property, very good breakfast and excellent nightly rate. Booked a second night minutes after checking in. Easy beach access and loved enjoying a drink on the balcony watching the sun set. Looking forward to staying again the next time I’m in the area."

"The half board package was excellent. The breakfast and dinner were scrumptious and elaborate. Staff were very helpful and attentive. The sea view from our room was stunning and yes, the onzen, sauna and the cold plunge in our suite were great! Kudos to the team!"

"Beautiful traditional property."

"多数の貸切風呂が時間を気にせずに使えるのが良かった。 食事の案内や準備がスムーズでないこと、仕入れの関係でメニューが品書きから変更になったのにもかかわらず説明が無かったことなど、食事に関するサービス面で不満が残った。"

"No drinking water in public bath is the only concern as needed to walk outside of changing area to get water. "
