"We had reserved for 2 queens and ended up receiving one king which didn’t matter BUT not what I had reserved for. There was no housekeeping while we were there for 3 nights either so we had to ask for dirty towels to be removed and garbage removed. I felt it had gone down in quality since our past previous stays there."

"I stay here a couple of times a year. Usually I throughly enjoy my stay but not this time. The staff in the evening and the last 2 day of my stay were fabulous. I did not get maid services even though I asked for them. I had to keep asking for towels and such because I did not have maid services. They did come one day while I was in the shower so I asked them to come later, I think they did but only emptied trash and nothing else. My water was shut off while in the shower a different day, I was told they were trying to fix a problem in another room. They did apologize but that’s about it. One day my keys quit working so again up to the front desk. There were just several things that made this stay frustrating. Oh and Marriott has apparently decided that showers don’t need doors (I’m at another location they have the same set up) and so your legs freeze while in the shower. It’s really hard to shave your legs when they are freezing. So overall I don’t think I’ll be staying at Marriott again."

"I checked in as a solo female traveler visiting family in the area. Upon arrival, there was a large group of men gathered in the lobby. During check-in, the front desk staff announced my room number out loud while handing me my key. This is a basic safety practice most hotels follow, and failing to do so shows a lack of awareness or training when it comes to guest security—especially for those traveling alone. Unfortunately, that wasn’t the only issue. The secondary interior lock (swing bar latch) was completely broken off, leaving no added security beyond the deadbolt. The room was also noticeably run down and poorly maintained. The shower had deteriorating, missing caulking, and the closet had an exposed opening where I could see directly into the plumbing and backside of the shower. To add to the frustration, I was disappointed with pool policy. My sister, brother-in-law and their children (ages 2, 9,11) stopped by to play in the pool for 1 hour before dinner. Neither my sister nor I swam, but I was charged $40 for the kids and BIL. They are a local family who have used the hotel’s community room for events and visited other visiting guests at this hotel, guests who never had to pay an additional charge for the pool. It feels like a blatant money grab rather than a reasonable or fair rule. Where does the $10 per person go? Not maintenance! Between safety concerns, poor maintenance, and questionable policies, this stay was disappointing. Would not recommend. "

"Stayed here recently and had a decent overall experience. The hotel was clean, which is always a top priority for me, and the staff were friendly and accommodating throughout my stay. Check-in was smooth, and the common areas were generally well-kept. That said, the property is clearly showing its age. The rooms and facilities could really use some updates; things like worn furniture, dated decor, and minor maintenance issues (loose fixtures, weak water pressure, older appliances) stood out. Nothing was deal-breaking, but enough to notice and take away from the overall comfort. Breakfast was also pretty lackluster—limited options and not much in terms of quality, which was a bit disappointing and didn’t add much value to the stay. With some renovations and attention to repairs, this place could easily be a much stronger option. For now: decent location, clean and serviceable, but not quite up to modern expectations…while charging modern prices. "

"Breakfast was good-they had a mini waffle maker! I have never seen one of those in a hotel before! We made waffles everyday! The pool was nice-small but that was good for us. The staff were awesome-very helpful and friendly and patient with my grandma! "
