"Our stay was for a week so we had plenty of time to settle in. The rooms are large and comfortable. The showers are awesome with plenty of hot water. The breakfast was exceptional. And the restaurant was always delicious! The staff at every location and position from front desk, restaurant, service, cleaning were all outstanding! I woul say that suggestion we have to improve would be to add ceiling fans in the rooms and add additional tables and chairs to the balcony overlook for the bar. Plenty of room to double the seating capacity. Every day the 3 or 4 tables filled and others were left without a place to sit for drinks and sunset viewing. That’s it, we enjoyed our stay and would say again on a return trip to Monteverde. "

"Clean, no-frills room (no TV or fridge). Bed okay. Delicious breakfast. Close to many activities. Quiet area, but can hear people talking as they walked by room in the morning. Good value. Can see some wildlife on the premises."
