Lovely hotel close enough to the centre of York for convenience but just enough out of the bizz. Mattress was very much on the firm side for me but that's just personal preference. We come to york several times a year and this time was specifically for our 8 year wedding anniversary... Reception was clean and helpful. The suite, which we stayed in had a stained sofa, broken draws and unlockable bathroom door! AND you have to force the the main door to ensure it deadlocked!!!! ...
