"Check in time is between 2 and 3pm. As inconvenient as that is, the road to the castle is currently under repair so there is no parking past the causeway. So either a 20 minute walk uphill in the heat or a shuttle which runs every 30 minutes ( roughly). Except the shuttle doesn’t operate between 2 and 3 pm! So it is difficult to check in on time! Why wouldn’t Goulas advise this? The double room with sea view is very small with the bed taking up 80% of the room. The bed also has protruding decorations which can inflict quite painful encounters with knees or shins. You have to ask why get a bed like that in such a small room? Nothing else in the room except the tv, air con and a few cupboards. The patio area has a great view of the sea with 2 metal chairs (no cushions) and a small table. Newly tiled bathroom is very small with great water pressure from the hand held shower ( no bracket for this). All in all, very poor value for money and relatively uncomfortable."
