The place was clean, with a friendly staff and the breakfast was the best we had on the peninsula. The complaint we have about the place is in the description of the location. This place is 40 min from Monemvasia and the name suggests different. There’s a nice pool, access to the beach and spa treatments are available. If you can transport this place at a different location, it’d be awesome.

This hotel and location was absolutely exceptionally superb from start to finish, I can’t fault it in the slightest. The staff made it extra special with their willingness to help even in the situation of an absence suitcase- which we made sure didn’t spoil our holiday. The attention to detail was amazing, and nothing was too much for the staff to help with. The spa was a lovely experience and the ladies were very friendly and attentive. All in all we enjoyed the resort and would highly recommend it.

Our room was really tiny. We couldn't even open our suitcase in the room! I honestly expect bigger rooms when I book a 5 star hotel. Overall everything was very clean. The room was poorly soundproofed. We could hear our neighbors having fun at night and the receptionists talking. In the lobby was a cigarette smell, so I suppose, that the staff has been smoking inside. The gym was in a terrible condition. We really liked the pool area and the beach. The breakfast, that was offered, was pretty good (some things were pretty cold when we arrived at 10am)

Quiet clean hotel

This hotel is nice however it may not be a 5 star but it is a nice 4.5 star for Greece and it is a good value for the price. I would stay there again when visiting Monemvasia even though it is about 20 minutes drive from the Castle its worth the drive to have bigger rooms and sleep while hearing the waves outside your balcony instead of small rooms in the Castle with limited parking.

Wonderfull peacefull comfortable hotel

We arrived to thé hotel after a long and astonishing drive through the Mani (Peloponessus ) mountains. Very warm welcoming staff and superb rooms, with the sea at your feeth and a little quiet beach. Superb swimming pool and relaxing long chairs. Only problem is the distance to Monemvasia for the dinner. 45 min drive.

Need a perfect place for R&R? If your answer is YES, the answer is definitely the Alas Resort & Spa. It is at the end of a quiet road near the village of Elia. It is totally self-contained with a sand beach, rocky beach for sunbathing, a fantastic pool with a bar nearby, an excellent restaurant, and a beautiful spa. The rooms are great (ours was small but faced the Mediterranean). The staff was totally accommodating and nice. It was a great choice for us and can be for you too.
