Very mixed feelings on this hotel. You'll be ok here, but there are reasons it's cheaper.
Restaurant has wonderful food and the service was lovely. Reception was a mixed bag. This hotel is far from town, so you'd think the question of how to get there wouldn't stump them. The chap behind reception told us to loiter at the nearby petrol station for an Auto that would cost 20 rupees. On the reception desk next to him was a framed Trip Advisor ranking of "Best Business Hotel". So the best business hotel tells it's business travellers to wait at the petrol station for an Auto? We later discovered that the Auto price is 100 rupees (from the restaurant staff) and when we were in town found a phone number for Mega Cabs, pre booked reasonably priced aircon cabs. I'm not precious but hanging round the petrol station was a bit much for me and the price difference was minimal.
The hotel is quite new so looks great in areas. Of course room cleanliness can make or break even a new room, and whilst the hotel was clean in most areas, there were exceptions.
I rate a room by the nights sleep I get mainly. The bed was comfortable, the room modern. What ruined it was very loud airconditioning even on the lowest setting. It was like a jet engine. Earplugs did the trick but only just.
You'll be happy here if you don't mind travelling into town, and can get some good information on how to do it. Some of the reception staff seemed inexperienced and exhausted. Not their fault.
