Royal Hotel Carlton
Hotel is a 15 minute walk from the centre of Bologna which is very handy. It was on a quiet road. Rooms are a bit dated but had a classic feel. Check in was very easy, the receptionists were lovely.

Hotel Internazionale
Location of hotel was excellent, easy walk to center & a short walk from train station. Good breakfast included. Hotel was old & outdated, problems with plumbing in bathroom. Room was sizable. Staff helpful.
