"Directly in Cuenca el centere. Perfect for walking. Go to the street vendors and grab some authentic Ecuadorian street food in the evening. Very friendly staff. Building was well kept and clean though a bit noisy. Beautiful old hardwood floors announced every visitor.

"It is a very cute hotel in the center of of Cuenca's historic district close to very good restaurants. The neighborhood is safe and clean. That being said, it is a busy loud area and my room had a street side balcony. So if you have sleep issues this isn't a good choice for you. The amenities were few but I did appreciate being able to refill my water. Also, I found the cats adorable but if you are allergic you need to be aware of them."
"Staff are Great, lovely Hotel. Shower was problematic, as soon is it is hot; it’s too hot. So one adjusts it to colder, then too cold, and could not regulate the temperature. Constantly going back and forth; ruining the morning shower experience.

"The place is an old "casona" from beginning of 1900. It is well maintained for the age but the wooden floors make sounds everytime you walk, but are especially noticeable at night when it's less noisy around the city.
