The AC was out so we had to have the windows open. This which meant that we heard the pub below us quite well until it closed. The room was nice otherwise.

Almost to check in at 10 pm with two kids when they informed us there was no air conditioning, parking lot was $30. Got to the room, decent size. Bathroom was super small. Had refrigerator which is awesome. Ice machine on our floor was out of serve. Parking lot was very badly designed and expensive.

It was a nice sized room. There was no air conditioning in the room. We slept with the windows open. We did receive free parking. There were no bars of soap in the room for hand washing. It was an inconvenience.

Great place as I have come here more than once before but this time, no AC. Bring a Fan until this get their AC fixed! Otherwise, great hotel, great staff, and the rooms are top notch!

Nice location. Very quiet and peaceful. Air was not on due to change in season so I was warm. They were nice enough to bring me a fan so I do appreciate that. The hot water was not working in the first room. However when moved shower was better and hot water was working.

I booked on Expedia a 2 double bed suite. We checked in and I was given a queen bed suite. 5 people did not fit comfortably like they should have. Unable to change to a room that I purchased. They wouldn’t let me said they cannot guarantee rooms booked thru 3 rd parties such as Expedia

I was on the 5th Floor. It felt like a sauna! I turned on the "fan" (didn't see an A/C option) and set it to 72, then 70, then 65..I could barely tell a difference. The staff were nice and helpful with checking in and out. Breakfast was better than I expected from a hotel.

When we checked in, I had two double beds because I ordered through Expedia a third-party. They said they had oversold their rooms so I had to go with a king bed and a couch. Not happy next could not cool down the room. It was hotter than hell in there, lotta money spent for not getting anything we wanted

The space is great with the suites if you hold that it is a 60 yo building. With an early Spring, it was quite warm and they cannot switch to air until May. With the windows open, the room was good to sleep in. The wifi was great and the staff very helpful. The location was very good to get to places in town with walkable restaurants nearby.

We recently reserved a room for approx $300 a night. The beds were quite uncomfortable, the property was only able to 'heat' the room at this time of year so the suggestion was to turn off the thermostat and open the windows to help cool the room. So we could not control the temperature and could hear all the noise in the streets all night long. Also with such a high rate of reservation parking should be included in the hotels parking ramp as part of your stay.

The heater would not turn off. Talked to the front desk and their fix was to open the windows. The hotel is located downtown Minneapolis, its a very loud area, I like to fall asleep to a fan, not cop sirens and squealing tires. Also the parking at and around the hotel was super inconvenient.

Overall was a great hotel. Very clean, staff was very friendly amd welcoming. Only complaint was our room felt like a sauna when we got in it was 80º or hotter when we got in there and couldnt get air conditioning to work, had to open the windows in the room to get it to cool down.

We reserved a room with 2 queen beds and were only given 1 bed. The room was hot and stuffy the entire weekend despite turning the air down to 60 and having the windows open. Everything seemed dirty and run down, very disappointing for a Doubletree, usually they're reliably clean and well kept. I would not stay here again.

The hotel served its purpose for the few hours we needed it to sleep. It was a clean hotel and staff were good. However our room's thermostat was on the opposite end of the room than the bed so it was hot the whole night. Be aware that when you stay there and park onsite, they will charge you $30! A little ridiculous if you ask me.

They did not clean our room nor did they bring anything for the second day so I had to go down to get toilet paper, coffee etc. They said they had a staff shortage. Also, there wasn’t any ice in the machine on my floor. Finally, I left something in the room and have called 4 times and left messages and they still haven’t called me.

It’s a decent place to stay. The rooms need a deep cleaning. It just wasn’t the quality I was expecting. On the other hand the staff couldn’t have been any kinder or welcoming so for that I’m looking past the not so clean room.

We only stayed one night so didn’t complain but really should have. The hot water faucet was stripped and had to push down and turn to get hot water. Toilet was iffy if it would or wouldn’t flush had to lift the lid and have it fill and then try again to flush. Room was so hot!! Had it set down to 60 but never cooled off and made sleeping horrible. Went to take a shower to cool off and someone else’s long hair was on the shower wall. Very disappointed for a Doubletree HH property.

Nice big room, lots of issues
While the room was nice and big, the bathroom smelled like smoke, (in a smoke free building), the TV channels were messed up and mislabled, and many did not work. There were no towels or cups to use the water machine in the fitness center. Probably the biggest issue though was the heating/cooling. I was warned at check in, but the room and hallway was easily over 85 degrees, and I was told to crack a window if I was uncomfortable. The window stayed open all night because even with the thermostat set at 60 degrees, it was still hot to warm. It was unacceptably hot. I also experienced low water pressure in the bathroom sink.

Okay stay.
Over all okay stay. Only complaints were the hotel was HOT. and the parking garage looked like it was going to fall in. Staff at check in was friendly. And was a quiet place.

Okay hotel
The room was good but cold the bathroom toilet barely flushed morning staff was really good with getting things done if you needed help. Night shift was rude and didn’t help most the time was on there phone in front of guest waiting at the desk.
