Nice room. Comfortable bed and good heating which was appreciated on a cool evening. We didn't find the vending room with coffee, microwave etc when we arrived, only when the owner mentioned we could get a coffee the next morning. As it's out of season and early in the week everything in the town was closed so had to drive to a larger town to get dinner.

This is really an outstanding hotel. We have been travelling across California, and this is the best hotel by far. It even has complimentary washer/dryers which was an absolute bonus. Ten out of ten.

Red Wolf Lakeside Lodge is located on the shore of North Lake Tahoe. Unlike South Lake Tahoe the north shore is much quieter. Red Wolf Lodge is beautiful with a nice rustic feel. These are really suites with two separate bedrooms, a sitting area and fully kitted out kitchen. The sitting area and both bedrooms have TV's and video players and there is an ipod dock available also. There didn't seem to be any air conditioning but there is a ceiling fan and the windows are screened so it was...

Incredible location right in the heart of town, just a 2-minute walk to the beautiful Lake Tahoe beach. The rooms were spacious, and the staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.
The hot tub and heated pool were amazing after a long day of walking, and a real highlight was the open fire area where they provided free s’mores kits. It created a lovely atmosphere and we ended up chatting with other travellers and had a great time.
Would definitely recommend staying here!
