My Place Hotel - South Omaha/La Vista, NE

"It was fine. It was also the only hotel with availability in LaVista and we were there for a show at The Astro. The room was clean but we were on ground level and our screen had been broken out and not repaired so it looked obvious that someone could get in easily. The AC is so loud that it woke us up every time it clicked on. The bed was very uncomfortable."

"Breakfast was empty most of the time and eventually we stopped waiting. The oatmeal was great, but the area was dirty, the high chairs/boosters were very dirty, walls/floor corners/under the raised vanities and furniture were visibly dirty. The parking lot was so small we barely had a space. Staff said we could park anywhere we could fit including making a spot. Excellent location however and they were affordable and friendly. The staff was very friendly. The pool was very small and crowded so we didn’t get to try it this time."

"Bathroom mirror was a cheap mirror hung on a nail.... the wall and alot of the paint was worn off of the frame. Breakfast subpar from what we are used to with Choise Hotels. Found trash under the bed. Desk staff was not welcoming.... borderline rude...not one smile...My husband is disabiled...when we parked in a handicapped spot a hotel staff came out and challenged us "You do know this a handicapped spot and we had to show our handicap par tag....so disapointing. Our daughter lives in Omaha...will not"

"The carpet in our room seemed stained but hard to tell on a dark-colored carpet. The walls were banged up and patched. The outlet in the bathroom kept shorting out. I had to push the reset button several times. The elevators were dirty. But the bed was comfortable and clean. Breakfast was good."

"I stayed for 4 nights and not one time did cleanin staff come into the room. Every night I had to ask for fresh towels and garbage bags. And was told to leave soiled towels and garbage in the hallway. Also every time we used the shower it backed up and long hairs and pubic hairs came out of the drain. I told the desk and was offered a room switch but did not want to have to move everything late at night as my son had been wrestling all day and had to be up early. Also the room smelled constantly of smoke, both tobacco and marijuana"
