It was a great place. Family business, beautiful boarding house. Friendly and welcoming atmosphere. Nice bright room, we got a better room, the owner of Mithat was very kind, for which we thank him very much. A delicious homemade dinner with good wine. The place is very quiet, in the heart of the village. A beautiful lake and we lived right next to the ancient ruins. The ancient history of this place makes it exceptional. Thank you again very much. We had a lot of pleasure

The town of Kapikiri where the Agora Pansiyon is located is a Roman city where people live among the ruins on a Lake that is on the migratory bird routes. It is easy to walk in the town and everyone was very friendly. Agora Pansyion has protected parking, an outdoor seating area for warmer weather and an area inside for cooler weather. The owner, Mithat Sercin, provides a full range of additional services to include guided walking tours of the area. He is also an excellent photographer. There are no restaurants in the town except those attached to other places to stay but the food prepared by the owner's mother checks all the boxes for delicious, healthy eating. If you are looking for small town restfulness, authentic village home cooking combined with the ability to walking in history, Agora Pansyion is the place to spend some time.

A very nice breakfast Apart from a small kosk are with cushions - there is hardly anywhere to sit comfortably in the communal areas. A few settees or floor cushions should make it better

Expensive for what you get
This place is good for a stopover. It isn’t on the lake so no nice views and there isn’t too much to do in the village. The room was okay although we were unable to lock our room as the previous guest had taken the key. We were given a few spare keys to try after we arrived, but that isn’t really for guests to do! The village may well be “safe” but guests don’t know anyone from Adam. Surprised there wasn’t a spare and/or housekeeping key! The Agora isn’t cheap for what you get and having traveled extensively in Turkey and Eastern Europe for months at a time, you get no more or less than other locations. Beer was 60 lira a bottle, this is more than some places in Bodrum, expensive for a rural location. The food was okay but expensive and nothing that got us excited. Also there is no price list or menu, the menu is basically what is available on any given day. We would have given a higher review had it not been for the prices and not being able to lock our room at night!

Kapikiri is in the middle of nowhere, and very difficult to get to if you don't have a car or speak the language. That said, it is worth the effort! This is a very unusual and beautiful part of Turkiye, and I have never been to a place where the village was literally built around the ruins of Helikos, dating back to 300 BC. Not kidding- to get to some ruin sites, you have to walk through people's yards! The villagers are very friendly, but the women will try to sell you trinkets at every turn. The only disappointment was that I couldn't go on the guided hike to see the 5000 BC rock drawings- my guide woke up sick, so he had to cancel. Nothing in Turkiye is fast, so a last-minute replacement wasn't an option. BTW, the food is a major reason to visit- everything cooked fresh by mama, and everything grown on their farm. Exquisite!!

This was my second stay . It is still a family run property with warm friendly services , clean comfortable rooms , delicious food in a rustic setting with a mature garden . Definitely worth a visit . On our way north and south along the west coast of Turkey a definite comfortable stop!! Highly recommended!

We felt at home. It was a lovely stay. We highly recommend Agora Pansiyon for your visit to Latmos. The family running the pension helped us arranging the transport, gave us tips for our hikes, prepared us home cooked meals. Tea was always boiling.

Agora is in a well-kept garden with amazing owners who are knowledgable and helpful in every ways. It has a laid back charm, the breakfast waa absolutely delicious and plenty. The only down- side is it does not have the view of the lake but it is closer to the ruins. Really refined and reliable familt-run B&B.

Staying here was wonderful! We have travelled extensively and frequently over the last 30+ years. We were treated like family, cared for and looked after. Our hosts are amazing genuinely goooood people. The facilities were beautiful and the meals superb. This place is uniquely amazing!

Séjour agréable, la chambre était petite et assez austère mais néanmoins confortable. La pension en elle-même est très agréable, dans un jardin ombragé et l'accueil . Nous y avons très bien mangé, tant au petit-déjeuner (inclus) que le soir, notamment du poisson excellemment préparé, grillé juste à point, à un prix raisonnable. En revanche, le prix de la chambre pour une nuit, 82,50 euros, nous a semblé trop élevé.

Petit havre de paix
Dans un petit village avec vue sur le lac, cet hotel est parfait pour un séjour déconnecté des grandes villes. Les parties communes et les exterieurs sont tres agréables et très bien entretenus. Notre chambre était un peu dans son jus mais très propre et très confortable. Les repas cuisinés sur place étaient trés bon (mention spéciale pour le petit déjeuner turc). L'hôte est trés gentil et très avenant, soucieux du bien être de ses clients.

Hors de temps.
Un endroit hors du temps dans un village isolé au bord du lac Baffa. On voit la vie paissible se dérouler sous nos yeux. Les mamies prennent le frais devant la maison et vendent des objets fabriqués eux-mêmes. Chèvres, ânes, poules et moutons sont tout autours. Pension de famille très sympathique, on se sent comme à la maison. N'hésitez pas à goûter les repas excellents sur place.

Çok keyifli bir tatil geçirdik. Odalar çok mütevazi ve tertemiz. Kahvaltı için ne yazsam az kalır inanılmaz tatlar deneyimledik. Otel sahipleri çok entellektuel ve inanılmaz güler yüzlü çözüm sunan harika insanlar. 3 gün kaldık 3 hafta kalmış gibi dinlenmiş ayrıldık herşey için çok teşekkür ederiz.

Agora Pansiyon çok doğal çok güzel bir ortama sahip. Aksam yemegi terciginde de bizi kesinlikle memnun etti. Tek eksiği gol manzarası yok :) Bir sonraki seferde trekking için daha uzun süreler tercih etmeyi düşünüyoruz.

Accoglienza calorosa in un luogo autentico
La pensione Agora è situata nel villaggio di Kapikiri, tra le rovine dell'antica Eraclea ed è vicina al lago Bafa, nota area naturalistica. Siamo stati accolti calorosamente dalla simpatica famiglia che gestisce la pensione, proponendo diverse attività legate alla regione, tra cui delle gite e dei trekking sul monte Latmo e vi produce anche dell'ottimo olio d'oliva. La camera era spaziosa e pulita, i servizi comprendevano il parcheggio ed il wifi oltre che un'ottima ed abbondante colazione. La ristorazione (pranzo e cena) è a base di prodotti del loro orto, cucinati in modo casalingo e genuino. Un'ottima sistemazione per visitare il lago Bafa, le rovine di Eraclea ed il monte Latmo oppure anche semplicemente per rilassarsi in un ambiente calmo e familiare.

Im großem und ganzen in Ordnung. Das Abendessen in der Pansion ist verhältnismäßig teuer aber geschmacklich sehr lecker. Das Frühstück war ebenfalls sehr lecker, jedoch hat mir hier Fleisch in Form von Wurst oder ähnlichem gefehlt.

Уютный пансионат рядом с озером и горами
Уютный пансионат в небольшой деревне рядом с озером и горами. Потрясающее место для трекинга, занятий боулдерингом, да и просто для отдыха от цивилизации. Для скалолазов - некоторые камни были слегка в запущенном состоянии, ездили в феврале, может быть просто не сезон, не забудьте взять щеточку, чтобы их чистить. Все камни были буквально в 15 минутах ходьбы. Хозяин отеля предоставил весьма радушный прием, готов был скрасить вечерок за приятной и ненавязчивой беседой, всегда был готов помочь куда-то отвезти или дать дельный совет. Завтракали и ужинали там же, по весьма доступным для европейцев ценам, очень вкусно и сытно, с грустью вспоминаю эти завтраки, когда ковыряю с утра дома овсянку. Домики, в которых жили небольшие и уютные, с отоплением и кондюком, внутри чисто и аскетично, для тех кто не успел устать от цивилизации был wi-fi.
