the hotel was close to where the people we were visiting lived. They had parking, so that was a plus. The restaurant near by wasn't great, but you can walk to some nicer ones. Bathroom was old. Towels were great and as in many italian hotels there was no shampoo and conditioners.

The place was nice, clean, and the front desk staff are very helpful. The only problem is the air conditioning system was not working well. We weren't able to sleep well because it was really hot in the room.But overall the place was nice to stay.

This property was a bit off the beaten path, but it was super clean and very nice inside. It was only about a 5 minute walk to the metro (subway). The area was safe and the front desk was excellent. I would stay here again.

Everything was clean and comfortable and housekeeping was great. The hotel is conveniently located for walking to the Navigli area. The only caveat is the shower in our room was quite narrow.

A 12-15 min walk from Romolo Metro station. A nice quiet location away from the tourist areas. Staff was friendly and friendly, the hotel overall is very clean and breakfast was good. There's a cute and delicious bakery across the street and few doors down from the bakery is a pharmacy. I would stay here again.

Very nice hotel. We were close to the metro/bus/train station. Room was very clean and bed was comfortable. Didn’t venture to any restaurants near by because we ate down by the cathedral. We had an early flight out so we weren’t able to grab breakfast. It was easy to navigate from the hotel to Linate Airport by train and bus.

Nice hotel with good location and free breakfast
The Hotel is new and Nice. It has a secured parking lot and excelent breakfast. Location is very good, close to Metro and Navigli district. It is also easily accessible from the motorway. The staff is friendly and speaks English.

Very nice stay overall. The only downside was the noise that the cleaners did while cleaning the room next door. At some point they must have moved the bed because there was a big bang against the wall (where my head was) and that woke me up. Not good for a hotel!! You want some quietness.

Great hotel. Friendly staff. The rooms are clean and modern. The beds were comfortable for our 2 night stay. Convienent location with only a 5 minute walk to the Milano Romolo metro. The showers are tiny, but the water pressure was great. Their continental breakfast was delicious! Many different selections with cold cereal, fresh fruits, breads, pastries, sliced meats, fresh cheeses, scrambled eggs, coffee, tea, juices, etc. Wi-fi worked great here.

Efficient, spotless and friendy Hotel La Spezia
This is our go-to Milan hotel as it is close to a relative whom we visit regularly. While it is not downtown, the proximity to the Romolo metro station makes it a short ride to the Duomo and center of Milan. Hotel staff are welcoming, every hotel facility is impeccably clean and well looked after, breakfast is varied and the buffet constantly refilled. The hotel manager responds to emails to accommodate specific requests for a hassle-free stay. Would definitely recommend and will return for our next visit to Milan.

Lovely hotel. Nice room. Fantastic free breakfast in the morning on the 5th floor (seriously....they were serving mimosas!). The only thing I didn't like is that there isn't much around. We took a $20 taxi to the cathedral. That is where all of the action is.
