We arrived and were told we were suppose to have paid ahead (we booked through Expedia and usually pay on check in or it’s automatically paid through cc given on booking). Apparently we were supposed to have received an email beforehand w a link to prepay. We never received this email, and no, it wasn’t in spam. They were very helpful on the phone and we got it all squared away. Rooms (we had 2) were small but very nice and roomy enough. We were also told we could not have the “free” breakfast because you have to spend more than one night there. I’ve never heard of anything like that. We were allowed to purchase the breakfast for 15 euros each. We declined and did our own breakfast. We were allowed to leave our luggage onsite in a closet while we did a tour. The reception person was very helpful in trying to get us a taxi. Would I stay here again? Not sure. The mix up about not receiving the pre-pay email and then not getting the advertised free breakfast was disheartening. Not something you want to deal with after a long day/s of traveling.
