"Great spot and close to the park gate! As close as you can get without staying in the park. Make sure you stop in Oakhurst or Mariposa on the way in for water and food cause options are limited. The pizza place on site is good and the lobby store is well stocked. "

"We weren’t able to get lodging in Yosemite so booked a night at the Westgate. The room was updated, the bathroom was fresh and clean. The restaurant next door (Lucky Buck) served great food. The lodge was still about 60mins from Yosemite Valley which added to our driving as we returned to the park for a second day. After a long tiring drive and hike, the Westgate was a welcome place to rest. "

"Absolutely delightful place! Stumbled on it while driving in Yosemite and needed a break from camping and this little gem came up and couldn’t be happier! Amazing staff and they have a great restaurant on sight. One stop place for relaxation! The bed is so comfortable and the surroundings are beautiful. There’s a train ride just steps away that’s been on property for years! Super comfortable and easy! "
