Decent place, felt a little awkward vibe wise at times and the area always felt a little unsafe at night. Room was alright, having to ask to change sheets for longer stays was annoying, realistically that should just be on a rota. Breakfast was included at a very low price according to the booking, but it isn’t actually included and the breakfast options are pricey add-ons.

We absolutely loved our stay at Hotel Niwa Tokyo! The hotel strikes a wonderful balance between traditional Japanese design and modern comfort. The peaceful gardens, thoughtful details, and calming atmosphere made it such a special place to come back to after long days exploring Tokyo.
The hotel itself is beautiful, and we especially appreciated how quiet and relaxing it felt despite being in such a busy city. It was a fantastic introduction to Japanese hospitality and a wonderful home base for our first trip to Japan together.
We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo!

"Room was fine, especially good for solo traveling. Public bath was okay, not as clean as other places but probably due to foreigners who don't know how to behave. For example, some showers people left their bowl full of their dirty water, instead of flipping the bowl back upside down and cleaning ..."
