"Suspect room's been refurbished fairly recently so OK but shower pressure poor. Couldn't get tv to work. Breakfast cereal supplied, but no milk. However, free from shop next door 🙂 Hooks for coats and a shelf in the bathroom would be a bonus. No warning online that the access staircase is steep."

"It was an ideal stay for a short stay but I do feel that the rooms do need a bit of a revamp. I must say though, it was a very clean. Great service though and staff were very friendly. Thank you ☺️"

"Beautiful boutique hotel. Hard to know where to start, property itself is stunning, decor in all areas is excellent. On arrival reception staff were very welcoming and informative. Rooms are large and very comfortable. Bar is good, prices reasonable and excellent choice. Spa is well appointed. Fantastic evening meal in Blok restaurant, food superb, staff attentive, informative and friendly. Breakfast also very good, again staff were friendly, attentive and helpful. Overall, an outstanding place for a couple to take a relaxing break"

"The Rose and Crown is a little inn just above Porthcawl. It’s old, and charming, and the rooms are in need of a little bit of updating—-new carpet would go a long way! But the beds were very comfortable, it met our needs, and the staff were incredibly kind and helpful. We had a light dinner there, and it was delicious."
