"I ordered a room with a jet tub in the room and when I show up they check me in to a room without a jetted tub when I go to talk to them about this they tell me that there are no rooms available with a jetted tub. So I can either cancel which it was spring break so everywhere in the Dells was booked, or I could take that room. So to not take away from my vacation I stayed with the room. To make matters worse my door would not latch. All you have to do was push it a little and it would open. When I spoke to the maintenance personnel they told me that this room should never have been rented out because of the door not working properly. I have tried for over three weeks now to get a refund that was approved and still nothing. I am beyond irate"

"The rest of the guests were mostly long term residents and extremely rude and obnoxious. They sit around gossiping outside short term guests rooms, knock on the door and then run away. The room itself was so dirty, I went and got tapestries and fabric to put over the furniture and used a tarp over the bed I wasn't using and the bedding had holes in it and didn't look clean and felt terrible. One woman stood in front of my door and barked orders at some other people apparently far from where she was because she was basically screaming for what felt like over an hour until thankfully it started raining and she went away. It was unpleasant to say the least. Everything was so filthy that I just kept washing my hands constantly and counting down the days until I'd be checking out. When that day came some guy that looked like he was homeless knocked on my door an hour before check out and started saying something about leaving early (it was 10 am) as I brought my luggage to the car. When I went to drop off the keys, it wasn't a lock box, it was a tray on the desk so I flung the keys under the window so they'd be on the floor in the locked office. Glad I did, the homeless looking guy who I'm not even sure worked there ran to the office as soon as I walked out to retrieve the keys. I was worried someone would trash the room after I left and I'd be charged for it. Find a different place! No ID was asked for at check-in, no ice machine & the other guests are there 24/7."

"I could hear the people in the next room. Very hard to fall asleep while hearing people talking 10 feet from me. "

"The main lobby was experiencing leaks in the ceiling (below other rooms) with buckets and tiles and water dripping. The room I was placed in had a leaking toilet and I was expected to turn n and off the water valve to the toilet for each use. It then plugged up due to low water in the tank at one point. I went to get breakfast in the morning with barely a scoop of eggs and waited almost 20 minutes for the next order and no forks were provided. Thr staff was extremely polite and made the stay better as best they could, but definitely needs some major improvements in the facility. "
