The location was great. I enjoyed my visit. The manager was very helpful, and their is someone to clean the house every day. All the staff were nice and did not discriminate me for being different. Im glad I visited. I will for sure come back again. I would recommend this place over others.

The room was fine. But the neighborhood is super ghetto. No control over the temperature. It was hot. No cell signal. No internet. The main thing was I didn't feel safe leaving the property.

I cannot recommend this property. The room was not as advertised, which was disappointing from the beginning. Throughout my stay, there were ongoing noise issues, including loud TV starting around 5 a.m. and loud music late at night. After I reported the noise, another guest became extremely aggressive. He banged on multiple doors, repeatedly knocked on mine, shouted insults and slurs, and repeatedly threatened to harm whoever had reported him. I immediately informed the hosts that I no longer felt safe. The hosts initially messaged me saying they were on their way to ask him to leave. However, after speaking with him, they allowed him to stay and told me to lock my door because he would be leaving the next morning. It appeared that he was a regular guest, and despite what had happened, he was allowed to remain. The noise continued until around 3 a.m. and started again around 5 a.m. and 8 a.m. The next morning, I discovered that all of my groceries had been thrown away. I had heard the same guest angrily yelling from the kitchen while this happened, so I reported it to the hosts. They denied that it could have happened. Although the guest ultimately did not extend his stay, I had overheard him discussing the possibility, and after everything that had happened, I did not feel safe taking that risk. I checked out early, paid for another hotel myself, and my request for a refund for the unused night was denied. Overall, I felt unsafe, unsupported, and disappointed.

Our first Uber driver looked at the address and asked, "Are you going to be okay here?" That should have been my first warning. The listing is misleading. The backyard looks nothing like the photos—there was trash everywhere, the house is very old and poorly maintained, and the neighborhood felt dirty and unsafe. It is not "near Wynwood" unless your definition of "near" is a long ride into an area where you don't feel comfortable walking. I was traveling with my son and decided not to spend the night. Losing one night's payment was better than risking our safety. Unsurprisingly, no refund was offered despite the misleading description. To make matters worse, I later found the same "bohemian backyard" photo used on another property. That raises serious questions about the accuracy of this listing. Calling this place a "hotel" is generous. Calling this listing accurate is impossible. If the first person worried about your reservation is your Uber driver, cancel the booking—not your instincts. This experience also destroyed my trust in Expedia. Supporting listings like this makes it much harder to rely on reviews in the future.
