We paid for 3 rooms in full with Expedia, then when we got to the hotel they said they were putting a hold/deposit on my card for, but instead charged us for another 3 rooms, so they Double billed us and won't refund our money! The hotel was filthy and only one light in the room even worked. People were doing drugs on the property in the breezeway. The girl who checked us in didn't speak English and was on her phone the entire time she checked us in, which is probably why we were double billed!

Can’t sugarcoat this. We do 4-6 weeklong road trips each year, so we stay in a variety of hotels and this hotel by far was the worst we have ever stayed at. We just needed a stopover for one night while driving from Charleston to Key West. So, this place seemed to be good, nice location, pet friendly (we had our dog), free parking, and about 15 min from South Beach where we were going to have a late dinner. Checking in took over an hour because no one was at the front desk, while waiting it was clear people were living at this hotel, cars being worked on in the lot, people smoking all over trash not picked up. The room itself was big, thankfully we were on floor 2 so it helped drown out some of the noise outside which never stopped, between people arguing with each other, car alarms going off we didn’t get much sleep regardless. The bathroom was disgusting, the shower had mold all over and the tub was leaking. Thankfully it was just one night. We were up and out at the crack of dawn. And because I just didn’t trust how this place was run, I made sure to check out in person and get a receipt. I had zero interest in breakfast there and that was good because it was non-existent. The room in the lobby that had the sign for breakfast was completely empty. Not even coffee. It is hard to believe the parent company, whom ever it is allows this mess to happen.

NEVER AGAIN !!! The only positive thing about this property is the location which is very convenient. It seems they allow "long term rentals" for low income tenants. The property is very run down with vehicles being repaired in the parking lot. Trash in the hallways exposed water and irrigation pipes. The front office is just as filthy as the rest of the property.

I only stayed for two nights and was a lot of noise, people walking around and listening to loud music. The breakfast is only coffee and muffins and the property is not very clean. The rooms smell very bad and the bathroom tub looks dirty.

Definitely a reason this is one the cheapest hotels in Miami. Check in took over a hour because the first room we were given looked as if the previous guest had JUST left out. Second room only had a single bed (booked a double). Finally took the third room but it still looked unsanitary. We ended up booking another hotel and just forfeiting our payment. There’s also countless stray cats roaming the property.

The property assigned us a room 167 which was not clean and had towels everywhere, bed was not made. Keys were thrown out all over the bed and saw some gooey stuff on bed. They later assigned another room 104 which had a queen bed and not double beds as in the booking and said that Expedia has made the mistake while I have confirmation that I booked 2 double beds while property says that they do not have any double bed options in their booking. The bath tub was old and didn’t look clean. The toilet seat was loose. I saw a roach crawling in the bathroom in the middle of the night when I went to the restroom. The floor lamp didn’t work. The alarm clock couldn’t be set. There was a bunch of noise coming from residents of the hotel. There was food garbage in the banister of the stairs. The porch light didn’t work. The continental breakfast consisted of muffins and granola bars. I couldn’t get into the front office/lobby to check in. I had to walk around to the back of the office/lobby to see how I could get in to check in. A young lady finally showed up and let us into the office/lobby. I slept in my day clothes and not my night clothes because I didn’t feel like the sheets and pillowcases were clean. I wore my shower cap to bed. I felt like I was majorly ripped off.

When I went to take a shower, the shower drain did not work and the water leaked into the room and got flooded. It was late at night and I don’t think anyone would have done anything at that hour. So I slept the whole night with wet floors until it dried the next morning. When I checked out I informed the front desk attendant about the issue and they did not offer a discount or just waive the rental fee entirely. I’m 83 years old and could have slipped and fallen. I’m not happy with service. Would not recommend this particular hotel.

I expected some great uniqueness, beings that Miami is considered a dynamic city and fantastic vacation destination, BUT... Not at this property! Things may have been clean in our room and decent nothing special but comfortable and the grounds were lovely everything else is what I would consider terrible and just frustrating. I had no trash can in the main and kitchen area, nor in the bathroom! What hotel does not have a trash can in the hotel room?! None that I've ever been to! Where are some cups for drinking at it can't even get a glass of water because there's no cups in this room anywhere!!. Staying tonight and there's only two large towels for two adults? It's okay to use the same towel, twice but it's just not what I expected. Just to make sure that your customer is comfortable. Continental breakfast OMG I swear I could not believe it I was completely shocked there was no breakfast when I went down at 7:30 to get two cups of coffee the coffee pot went out after the two cups there was no other copy for anybody else so they were probably making some but like where were they making it were they on top of it was somebody standing there no they were not what was there to eat three packages of oatmeal, no milk to go with it? was blown away! I couldn't even believe it. THERE WAS NO breakfast? There wasn't crap for someone to eat!!I t was terrible!! ridiculous! I can't even believe it. I have no idea how you can consciously think that this is a $180 a night stay? It is NOT!

I would rate this place between a 5-6 out of 10. It was pretty clean besides some hairs left on the shower wall and some dust behind some of the furniture. The real kicker was the extremely strong smell of cigarettes in the room. Almost used up my entire bottle of perfume trying to mask it. Bed was decent in terms of comfort. Pillows were crappy. Normally I wouldn't care for all of these things because "you get what you pay for". However, due to most hotels being sold out, we ended paying a bit under $400 for ONE NIGHT in a room that was not worth more than $150 MAX. Would not recommend staying unless you absolutely need a place to stay.

No blanket and dirty used shower
This was one of my worst experiences in a hotel. So when I checked in, I went straight to my room. As I got in bed to go to sleep, I noticed the only thing on the bed was a sheet. No blanket or comforter at all. I went to front to ask for one, she said she’d bring down to my room . 20 minutes later, she showed up and handed me a balled up whatever. When I opened it up, all it was is a little flimsy sheet thing again. So I put on a hoodie and slept under 2 sheets. Then in the morning, I went to take a shower. In the shower were dirty used wash clothes, a used bar of soap, and half a little tube of shampoo. Someone had used the shower before I checked in and it never got cleaned. After spending over $300 for the room, I should have gotten clean amenities and a blanket, but I didn’t. Absolutely horrible experience.

The room absolutely stunk of urine. I arrived late and had very little time to do anything about it. I just had to accept my situation and try to get some rest. Shampoo in the room had already been used and there was hair in my bed and in the bathroom. I woke up early for the breakfast as advertised and went down to find out it consisted of a muffin or some oats. The receptionist when asked decided to tell me what a muffin and oats were in an attempt to justify the awful breakfast selection. Terrible stay, complete waste of money and I would not recommend to anyone.

The beds were comfortable and appreciated the blankets were in a fresh bag, so ypu knee they were clean. The bathroom could have been a bit cleaner.
