"The place was amazing, the staff was very attentive and friendly. After each night our room was properly cleaned and tighten up. I would definitely come back here. Oh and the amenities they had were incredible! 10/10"

"The hotel lobby, ballroom, bar area and spa are architectural treasures that should not be missed. We had a first floor suite in the tower. Unfortunately, it was very much in need of a total renovation. Everything was sort of dingy, the couch was completely worn out, the bedspread was old, and the enamel in the sink was cracked. It was somewhat sad to have the common areas in the hotel be so delightful and historic, and the room so disappointing. It was very cold the days we were there so I cannot rate the pool at all. The beach is lovely, and the walkability is top notch. If they rehab the rooms, it would be an A-plus spot."

"Disappointing we have been staying at the Rose for several years. We go multiple times a year love Cabo.The property is starting to look run down. Rooms are outdated our shower barley worked. After first night went to front desk to get the bathroom shower situation resolved. I asked to be put into a different room. They agreed to move us but said we had to wait for a new room. Resort was not busy so there was really no reason why we had to have the Bell Hop come and take our luggage and store it. They told me to come back around noon for new room. Came back at noon still told me they didn't have a room for us yet. So had to basically waste all morning and part of the afternoon to get into a room so we could shower. Time for us to find a new resort to visit. "

"My overall stay was pretty nice. But the hidden fees is where they get you. We were not prepared at all for all the fees we ended up having to pay for. The stay we had to pay for entering Mexico. Each excursion we paid for they had hidden fees that were not mentioned to us at all. But we still had to pay for “insurance” for EVERYTHING. if I were to go back i definitely would just stay at the resort and not pay for any excursions due to the fact we had to pay for so many other things ruined the experience of exploring the city. I had paid for a transportation from and to the airport. But once we landed I was told my name was not on the list so we had to figure out a way to and from the resort which also costed another 200$ "

"I recently stayed at the Riu, and my experience was excellent. The hotel was spotless throughout, making for a comfortable and relaxing stay. The food provided was great, with a good variety that catered to different tastes. Additionally, the location was fantastic, close to key attractions and convenient for exploring the area. Overall, I would give this hotel a solid 5 and would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a well-kept hotel with great location."
