Just be aware that the hot tub is a paid extra, something that is not mentioned but that is not the hosts fault. They are unsure why that information is missing from the listing. "We only spent one night but loved the hotel. The location is great. Plenty of bars, restaurants and shops a few minutes walk away and a beautiful park opposite. The rooms were very clean and spacious. Staff were very welcoming and helpful. Lots of seating in the lounge. On arrival by car, you hand over your key and your car is parked and luggage delivered to your room which is a nice touch. Would highly recommend"

"A basic hotel set in lovely, peaceful grounds. The rooms could do with updating, but for a three-star hotel, they were as expected. I didn’t book breakfast, and unfortunately, the Sunday roast didn’t look very appealing. I stayed for four nights while visiting family, and the location was quiet and pleasant. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. However, housekeeping didn’t clean our room once during our stay. When we asked for it to be cleaned, the cleaner said she would, but instead left someone else’s dirty cups in our room, which was disappointing. Overall, I would stay again, mainly because it is the closest hotel to where my family lives."

"Lovely!! Perfect location on route to coast. Stayed in the main house, super huge cosy twin room with everything we needed, really clean and beds comfy. Staff were super helpful from the moment we checked in, the pub next door was cute and welcoming bar staff and friendly guests all chatting. Managed to get a swim & steam in before checking out, loved it! It’s not a modern hotel but clean and felt like a treat to stay. The tea & biscuits in the room was a nice touch. Would recommend 🙂"
