Splash park is a great addition and is away from the busy pool area meaning it is a lot quieter. The only 2 disadvantages we had were that no one told us the kids club is completely closed in September and that there were many fire ants around the pool- once we said it to the staff I think they sprayed the area and couple of days later it became a bit better.
