"Nice clean room, huge bathroom, comfortable bed. The views out to sea are stunning and the staff are very friendly.
Breakfast was really good. Will definitely stay here again"
"Large clean side of building room view of the road .
Old building so has a sloping floor .
Breakfast was okay a help yourself type . Bed was comfortabe enough. It was suitable for my one night stay at an average price for the time of year."
"We were greeted by Clare, a jolly lady, who showed us to the best B &B room we have ever stayed in. Breakfast was plentiful, well prepared and delicious. Parking was handy, off road and immediately by the entrance. If we go back to the south west we would definitely choose to stay at Bay Lodge again. Super bed!"
"We stayed for one night after travelling to Penzance from Norwich ready to catch the Scillonian boat to the Scilly Isles. We arrived at the end of the current heat wave so our twin room (Room #1) which overlooked the street was boiling hot and the window could only be opened a couple of inches for safety reasons. Otherwise it was fine, although the shower room was rather cramped. The staff were friendly and helpful, even bothering to ring us to tell us they had found my husband's cap which he'd left in our room by mistake, and the breakfast (buffet style) was very good. The hotel is very close to the train station and only a short walk to the ferry terminal, so this is a good place to stay if travelling by rail. It is also near a public car park so a very convenient place to stay and not too expensive."
"Don't know where to start... I booked a standard double room, based on the pictures I saw online. They should have to tell you there isn't enough room to have a full size suitcase and 2 adults in this room.the bed was so close to the wall it was hard to get in and out of bed. We had to rig a little corner shelf they had for tea and coffee to make our case fit.
If you were just there for a night with a backpack fine, but we were traveling from the states for 2 weeks, so a big case was needed.
The room itself was very clean, the bathroom was very roomy and bright. We did ask if there were other rooms available, unfortunately not for the first 2 nights, then we were able to move up to a king room. What a great room that was.
The staff here was great.
The breakfast was very good"
"The location isn’t great. It’s 15 min away from the main road. There’s no curtain/bed divider that will add for your privacy. My electric outlet and lamp not working. Locker wise, you need to bring your own padlock to secure your things."
"The rooms in the pub are underwhelming, noisy, need maintenance (our bathroom had the light and loo roll holder hanging off the wall) and expensive for what you get. Food at the pub is also not great. The staff were friendly and the music good. Probably wouldn’t chose here again or would go in a garden pod."
