"Very disappointing experience.
I checked in on March 24, 2026, and found the carpet soaking wet with a strong detergent smell throughout the room. I reported it to the front desk, but they said they didn’t know what to do. The hotel was fully booked, and no alternative room was offered. No one was sent to dry the carpet, and I had to request towels myself.
It was very late, and leaving would have meant losing money. I was also traveling with young children, which made the wet carpet and chemical smell even more concerning.
After Expedia contacted the hotel on my behalf, the hotel refused refund and refused any compensation, and reacted as if there was nothing wrong from their side.
Very disappointed with the room condition and the lack of responsibility and customer care. This experience was far below expected hotel standards."
