"Our overnight stay was delightful, lovely room overlooking the garden, excellent walk-in shower. A drink in the conservatory was very pleasant and dinner excellent. All the staff are friendly and helpful. Parking also very good. "

"The Cromwells tap house is a great old pub aswell as hotel. When we arrived on a Saturday afternoon, it was packed inside and also in the garden. We dropped our bags in the room which was extremely spacious with the most beautiful 4 poster carved wooden bed that you needed a step ladder to get in to it 😁. Carpet could do with changing in the room otherwise this hotel would’ve got an excellent review score. We ate in the bar and couldn’t fault the food. The hotel is up a hill so may not be for people with breathing or walking difficulties. We would stay here again."

"Nothing unique, just a well run pleasant hotel. It's in an business estate that's empty at night,so it's very quiet, but no pubs or shops nearby but plenty in town"

"We loved our stay and will return but the housekeeping in the rooms needs to improve (barely acceptable), the bed linen is beautiful though. The setting and the rest of the hotel makes it worth it though!"
