Amenities in the room were good but couldn't connect to the WiFi. The mattress was very lumpy and needs to be replaced in my view.

Staff were helpful, room was clean and tidy. Location is very handy for public transport and local cafes/takeaway options. We were able to access the local gym during our stay. There was some traffic noise in the area, however were able to avoid this by closing the windows and doors. Our room had enough cooking utensils and dishes however it would have been handy to have some extra items (eg olive oil/spray oil, aluminium foil).

I stayed here for only one night and the deposit I was charged for breakages was a whopping $250, more than the cost of the night stay. Furthermore, the deposit is only refunded in 3 - 5 business days after the stay. Disappointing.

Dear Gareth, Thank you for taking the time to complete your post a review online about your experience. We are however, disappointed to hear your feedback on the pre-authorisation process. Please note that the pre-authorisation hold, advised in both reservation confirmation documentation and arrival paperwork, is not a charge, rather it's a block against your credit or debit card, of which the hotel automatically advises the financial institution upon departure, that your account has been settled, and the block on the funds can be lifted. This is common industry practice, to cover incidentals such as mini-bar, Quest Cheltenham policy is to hold 100 from a credit card or 250 from a debit card. The team is also always on hand, including outside reception hours; with a 24 x 7 manager on-call, to assist with any queries on concerns you may have. I apologize your experience was less than perfect, Gareth - the team try to go over and above to ensure all our guests have a wonderful experience. We hope to see you again. Check in and room was great, but the view out the window looked like a refuse centre full of rubbish, broken cars and a derelict house. Very very poor....should have complained and asked for a new room. Will contact management and make this request...shocking that a room would have that outlook.

It was very clean and well maintained. Very quiet and easy to relax. Room wasn't ready on time but did not mind too much. Parking was tight. Overall had a great experience and would stay again.

I made a booking and paid for the room, then received a phone call from the hotel.. In that conversation I was asked how many guest will they be expecting? I said two then she then said manager decision is not to give you the room. Poor service and communication.. As I asked for a reason for this decision and there was no reasoning other than managers choice.. poor poor service took my money and still waiting on the refund..

As conveyed by the front office team upon time of booking, and outlined on the third party website in which the reservation was made, we have arrival criteria that must be adhered too. As you could not meet the terms of the reservation, as indicated to my team, your booking was subsequently cancelled, with zero monies taken.May I suggest you contact the online agent to query the refund process.As countless reviews attest, my team go out of their way to ensure the check-in process is a seamless one.This reflects the exceptional customer service each and every guest receives when interacting with our amazing property and the brand service standards that we pride ourselves upon and are renowned for. The apartment had a good layout. It was very comfortable and we relaxed right away. Good selection of kitchen choices and TV channels. We were on Level 1 and outlook was local carpark, higher up would have been nice.
