"We had a wonderful stay! The staff went above and beyond to make us comfortable. They have a communal lounge area where you can hang out and grab a drink, patio tables outside, and a restaurant that on its own is worth the visit. The breakfast was amazing and very filling. Rooms are serviced every day. Our apartment was comfortable with everything we needed. We chose to walk to and from the lake and although steep in parts, it is totally doable. "Charming and memorable stay with Dr Daniele and Casa Nini. Dr Daniele was utterly charming and helpful, from directing us into the car park to making dinner reservations (trust him! The food and views at Sottovento are amazing!). The morning of our departure he served a hearty continental breakfast and directed us to a local hike. He was a large part of our remarkable experience and I plan to return!"

"We were only able to stay one night, but our night at the Vallombrosa vineyard was very peaceful. The hosts were very helpful and kind and were gracious to bring me some emergency supplies. Although the property lies in a beautiful setting, it’s important to note that it takes at least 30 minutes to get to Lugano and the lake by car.
