Would describe Retreat as a guest house. Comfortable and clean. Good bed nice pillows. Nice fluffy towels. Excellent AC which didn't give me a stuffy nose. WiFi good. Treated as a family member not a guest. Staff had good English conversation skills and always went out of their way to be helpful. Also provided currency exchange at a very good rate. Breakfast was very laid back, a sea of calm in the midst of traffic chaos. A healthier breakfast than I would eat at home of seasonal fruit followed...

The hotel is in a very central location - lots of places to eat, visit and walk to. The staff are so helpful and really took time and effort to make our stay special. We notified them that we were vegetarian and they made excellent very special breakfasts everyday. Special mentions to Nhu and Hanh for being so wonderful. Only negative is the pool is very small.

Stayed here on two separate occasions. It's a great lodge very peaceful and lovely views. The food is also very good.

Due to an issue with a damage passport, we were meant to be travelling to Indonesia, but unfortunately immigration would not let us leave Vietnam. We quickly had to come up with a Plan B and we chose to fly internally to the island of Phu Quoc. Quickly did some research and found Mangobay. A short taxi from the airport to little corner of paradise. We will found that Bali vibe. Stuff attentive and really friendly. The rooms are beautiful with both Aircon and fans. You are second walk from the...

Nice hotel about 15 mins walk from the river. On a main road and off the tourist area. Lovely staff, very helpful and booked us the speedboat to Cambodia along with hotel pick up. Room was nice and spacious. Comfortable bed.

Family business run by lovely hosts. There is a couple that runs the hotel and they are very attentive and polite. They offered me Christmas dinner on Christmas eve and the young son of the owener, which the hotel is named after, gave Christmas cards to all the guests which I thought was a lovely touch. Breakfast is very decent. If you like to be a bit more tacked away from the city but still not too far, I would definately reccomend this place. The mum is such a character, doesn't speak a word...

I had a very pleasant stay at Mai Phuong Binh Bungalow. The grounds are very nice and well taken care of. I loved the terrace so that I could sit outside and stay dry from the rain. The pool was in great condition. My room was very clean and comfortable. I would recommend bringing your own toiletteries. Breakfast was good but I'd suggest going early as some dishes were cool by the end - but they made eggs to order which was nice.

I only stayed 1 night and did not have any food there as I left to catch the only flight from Rach Gia Airport at 0705. The reception staff were very professional and friendly. Always smiling. They provided a free car to take me to the airport. The hotel is big, modern and very plush with very good quality carpets in the corridors. The rooms are spacious as are the bathrooms. The downsides are the walls in the bedrooms are all tiles and good quality but the finish on the tiling is poor. Chips...

Had a lovely second floor sea view room which was spacious and clean. Breakfast was a bit of a let down but as we wasn't expecting breakfast anyway I suppose I should let that slide. Overall very good. There is a restaurant adjacent caller Areca which i highly recommend.

Near to the market, every thing good , will come back.
