"The Barahi jungle Lodge is a beautiful place, I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a bit of luxury in Chitwan! A few highlights: -Their commitment to sustainability is exceptional. For example, most of the food is grown on site, and they've effectively done away with single use plastic - The service!! This is old school hospitality. Anything you need at all, someone is ready to help. They surprised us with a complimentary bush dinner one evening (such a cool experience, would recommend)...

"We stayed for 2 nights and welcomed 2020 here and we couldn't have picked a better place to be. Ram was our guide and he also ensured that our stay was comfortable and took care of any requests we had. We were the only guests for the two nights as it is low season during winter time but we cannot recommend a better time to visit Nepal in general. All the other staff at the resort were exceptionally friendly and helpful and the other guides were also super friendly and chatty and happy to share...

"The Barahi jungle Lodge is a beautiful place, I'd recommend it to anyone looking for a bit of luxury in Chitwan! A few highlights: -Their commitment to sustainability is exceptional. For example, most of the food is grown on site, and they've effectively done away with single use plastic - The service!! This is old school hospitality. Anything you need at all, someone is ready to help. They surprised us with a complimentary bush dinner one evening (such a cool experience, would recommend) because, as the general manager said, "we deserved it" My only suggestion for anyone travelling here is that you absolutely need to arrange for activities. While the hotel amenities are beautiful, you'll find yourself with little to do but relax by the pool unless you book a safari, yoga, the spa or a village visit. Do it all - it's well worth it! "
