On arrival we were greeted by a lovely young lady who helped us with our bags and made us feel incredibly welcomed. She began to tell us about the history of the hotel and show us some of its rooms which were absolutely stunning due to the new owners redesigning from top to bottom. Gare 55 is amazing. It is situated in a renovated train station and the facilities are absolutely top notch. The rooms are modern and spotlessly clean and very comfortable. There is a kitchen that we were able to use and there are prepared meals available in the freezer. We are looking for a reason to revisit the area as we would love to stay at Gare 55 again.

Delightful stay at Villa Magdelena, lots of room in the family suite and lovely to be able to enjoy the outside space. Gorgeous house and a very friendly owner.

One of the best hotels we've ever stayed in. Absolutely beautiful and the decorations for Christmas were stunning. We loved spending time in the lounge area by the fire, the breakfast was very tasty and the hotel is in the perfect location. Would highly recommend. My ownly fault, and this isnt unique to this hotel, is that we paid an additional price for our four month son to stay (which is expected). Cannot think of one flaw and I've stayed at hotels all over the world. Beautiful hotel in a stunning location, only to be matched by the warmth of the hotel staff and the character of the rooms. I was going to stay in an AirBnb (I try to avoid chain hotels) but watched the movie "In Bruges" and saw a great deal on Expedia. It ended up being a brilliant decision.
