We were assigned to a higher rated room, but the smell of bleach was very strong. We thought it was because they just cleaned, so we left for over 5 hours and when we returned, it was still so strong we developed headaches in a short while and our eyes and throats were burning. We called the front desk and, thankfully, they had another room available. It was after 10pm, but we were able to change rooms, to a lower rated room (no discount given) and, at least, breathe while we slept. The staff was very pleasant and offered more than once to help with bags going up the stairs.
