"The Matsue Urban Hotel is a great place to stay while in Matsue. The breakfast is outstanding with a lot of variety including Japanese and American type of selections. The rooms are very clean and quiet. The location is very close to the train station which includes taxi and bus services. When I return to Matuse, I will stay here again."

The building is probably about 40 years old, and so the facility was deteriorating or run down, like cracks in the sink or stains on the wall. The mains for electricity was not easy to use - all mains were inactive when one is not in the room, making it hard to charge portable devices.
