"Location was close to our activity. Excellent staff were friendly and helpful. Room was nicely presented with good amenities. Clean quiet with excellent views over the lagoon. Superb service in the restaurant with a great menu and convenient opening hours. We'll be staying here next time we holiday in Rarotonga."

"It was a great stay for a week in a quiet, clean and roomy 1 bedroom villa. The staff were friendly and helpful, the grounds were well cared for and the breakfast was delicious. We borrowed a kayak and life jackets, all in good order and complimentary. You should definitely stay here. (3 adults from Australia)"

The Edgewater Resort & Spa

"Resort is great. Just know that while they list having 24 hour airport shuttle, this is blatantly false advertising. They have no shuttle. They will be happy to direct you to a cab for $25 per person, oh also they only take cash. If you didn’t bring NZE cash, there is an ATM handy, but expect a long line for the one ATM. After a long travel day, delayed flight, 90 minutes to get through customs, this unexpected extra $100 for the 4 of us and extra wait for the ATM was very frustrating. Also plan on $25 per person back to the airport, and yes it is under 10 min drive. The resort itself was great, the free breakfast is very basic, cereal, toast, fruit, mini muffins. Other options are available for purchase. Overall, can be a great experience, just go into it knowing what to expect getting there from the airport."

Seaside Beachfront Villas

"Great room and value. Pros: clean, view, patio, quite (minuse roosters and dogs lol) good kitchen, good location. Cons: rocky beach can not go in the water at all, limited supplies a total of 4 bath towels so 2 each for 8 nights total of 2 wash cloths, no extra sheets, very thin 1 ply toilet paper. We bought paper towels. Bed was not comfortable for us as it was hard and very springy but it my be fine for others. Was on the plane sending frantic emails for the access code to enter our room. That caused unnecessary stress since it was so late. We did get it with Expedia's help a few hours later after 7pm Overall I would book again based on value and view. We saw whales from our patio several times."
