"I have visited Nepal many times, but this hotel is the best balanced so far. It is especially clean and quiet despite being in the center of the city. The staff were also very kind, and I would like to stay at this hotel again next time."
"The towels were dirty, not too friendly, not satisfied with their service, inconvenient, and limited transportation, and hard to find the hotel's venue. "
"The staff were amazing. Always attentive, friendly, and smiling. Even though I was in Nepal during a time of political unrest, I felt safe thanks to the hotel staff kept me updated on the situation."
"I had an extraordinary stay at Maya Boutique Hotel! The staff were incredibly welcoming and attentive, making me feel valued from the moment I arrived. My room was impeccably clean, beautifully decorated, and equipped with all the essentials for a comfortable stay. The bed was exceptionally cozy, ensuring a great night's sleep. The location is perfect, offering stunning views and easy access to nearby attractions. Breakfast each morning was delicious, with a wide variety of fresh options. The...
"Very friendly staff. Convenient to Thamel, yet just outside the busiest streets. Clean hotel, good size room, in decent shape. The only negative, no elevator. "
"This place is cheap for a reason. But it was probably even overpriced for what it was considering there are cheaper places around that would be just as good/bad. There were bugs crawling all over the place, roaches, spiders, ants, and mosquitoes. There were roaches crawling all over the bed all night. The guy at the counter barely spoke English and didn't seem to understand the online booking. Asked me if i wanted a single room even though I clearly booked a king room. The booking included...

"We had an excellent stay at Hyatt Centric hotel in Kathmandu. The staff went out of their way to make us feel welcome and meet any of the needs we had."
"Fantastic hotel with a wonderful staff! Everyone was very kind and I appreciated the free upgrade. The owner was quite friendly and accommodating while the hotel provided a unique charm and lovely atmosphere. I greatly enjoyed my stay here!"
"Staff went above and beyond. We stayed during the protests and lock down. Even staff could not leave. They remained professional and still smiling. Connot express enough how awesome they are. "
"Excellent hotel with helpful, friendly staff, immaculate and spacious climate controlled-rooms. Great gym for working out using machines, free weights, treadmills. Nice location for shopping and wondering around Thamel area. Arranged early check in which I really appreciated after flying from West Coast for many hours. Hotel arranged ride from airport at reasonable price. Buffet breakfast with wide assortment of foods. Restaurant portions were generous and satisfying. I’d go back here if ever in Kathmandu again. "
"Room 304 - there was an elevator.
I had an amazing 2 night stay at this Kumari Boutique Hotel in Kathmandu, Nepal.
They offer an airport pickup service ($10 USD). I guy was waiting for me with a name plate. The ride through Kathmandu was about 20 minutes.
The check-in and receptionist was extremely pleasant and efficient.
There is a full, daily continental buffet (made to order omelets, pancakes, eggs, fruit, bread, cereal, fresh juice, etc).
It's a convenient lo action into the touristy part of Kathmandu. Restaurants and stores are within a 5-10 minute walk.
My suite had a TV and mini fridge. It was clean.
I would definitely recommend it, and if/when I'm in Kathmandu again, I will stay here. No complaints. "
